MATT O’CONNELL (1995) is a Midwest filmmaker and musician based in Chicago, IL.
Formerly an assistant at Lorne Michaels' Broadway Video, Matt's subversive independent shorts have screened across the country, including Midwest Film Fest, Oakland Short Film Festival, Shorted, and the Chicago Underground Film Festival.
In addition to film endeavors, Matt is a self-taught musician + audio engineer - his solo debut Fin Cinema was released this September!
